100 words of description

Film Title:

'Cubozoa' Name inspired by the scientific name for the Box Jellyfish. The Jellyfish is titled this due to its 'cube-like' structure. The appearance of the jellyfish appears remotely similar to that of my model and complements the eerie feel I want to give off within my film. The specific text I used, was becasue of its geometric form, playing on the cube theme.

100 Words:

I want to create a sinister environment giving the impression that something harmful could happen. I want to give the feeling of stumbling upon unknown grounds in which you could be at risk but you are living in the unknown.  In the beginning of my film I will limit the movement of my model in coalition with the restraint in music in hope of achieving a feeling of suspense as you venture into the model. Further along, when the drop in the music comes in, I hope to reveal the full movement of my model creating a climax through a sense of disruption in the environment. I want to conclude in a daze. A reflection on the chaos that occurred throughout middle of the film.

What I want to achieve in CRYengine

I want to create a chaotic environment in which the objects are quite playful in their movement. I want the scene to be overwhelming and to portray this I want to play around with the speed of my objects in hope to create a sense of disorientation. One movement I would really like to incorporate is the expansion and contraction of my squares within squares. I would like to vary the speed of these throughout the video. One of my main goals is for my music to compliment the model and its movement enhancing the playful aspect. I want my scene to represent a corrupted circus like scenario. Maybe it could initially appear to be fun and playful but the more you venture through and the more exposed you are to the model, the more macabre it becomes?
